Job Summary
The Academic Counselor will be responsible for providing guidance and support to students in their academic pursuits. This role involves assisting students in achieving their educational goals and navigating the academic environment effectively.
Calling potential leads: Contacting individuals who have shown interest in a course or program.
Providing information: Explaining the details of courses, fees, admission process, and answering any questions they may have.
Building relationships: Creating a positive connection with prospective students or parents to encourage enrollment.
Following up: Keeping in touch with interested leads through calls, messages, or emails to provide further assistance.
Handling objections: Addressing any concerns or doubts to help potential students make a decision.
Closing sales: Encouraging leads to complete the enrollment process by guiding them through registration and payment.
Updating records: Maintaining accurate records of conversations and progress with each lead in a CRM system.
Meeting targets: Achieving monthly or quarterly sales goals set by the company.
