Job Title: AC Technician

Job Summary:
The AC Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and servicing of air-conditioning and HVAC systems. The technician will ensure that all AC equipment operates safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company and project requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, repair, and service split, package, ducted, and other HVAC/AC systems.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of air-conditioning equipment.
- Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults in AC and HVAC systems.
- Check refrigerant levels and identify refrigerant leaks.
- Carry out refrigerant charging and recovery when required.
- Inspect compressors, condensers, evaporators, fans, motors, thermostats, and other components.
- Read and understand AC/HVAC drawings, manuals, and technical specifications.
- Perform testing and commissioning of AC systems.
- Replace defective components and carry out necessary repairs.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and spare parts used.
- Follow all company HSE procedures and ensure safe working practices.
- Coordinate with other MEP technicians and site teams to complete work efficiently.
- Report major technical issues and equipment failures to the supervisor or MEP Manager.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Perform other duties related to AC/HVAC maintenance as assigned.
Qualifications & Experience:
- ITI / Diploma / Technical Certificate in Air Conditioning, HVAC, Refrigeration, or a related field.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience as an AC/HVAC Technician, preferably in the UAE or GCC.
- Experience with split AC, package units, ducted units, AHU/FCU, and related HVAC equipment.
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems and controls.
- Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical AC faults.
- Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental requirements.
- UAE driving license is an advantage.
