We are seeking a highly skilled and safety-conscious AC & Refrigeration Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the diagnostic troubleshooting, performance testing, and routine maintenance of our industrial heating and cooling systems. This role demands a strong adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations, ensuring operational excellence across all assigned work areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair HVAC and refrigeration systems.
- Conduct performance testing and adjust system settings using specialized tools.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality (HSEQ) standards.
- Complete job sheets, inspect tools and equipment before use, and maintain high housekeeping standards.
- Assist with risk assessments and report safety incidents promptly.
Requirements
- Recognized qualification in Industrial Maintenance, Refrigeration, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of industrial maintenance experience, preferably in the construction or industrial processing industry.
- Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
- Good oral and written English communication skills.
- Team player with a strong sense of responsibility and integrity.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification in refrigerant systems.
- Valid light vehicle driving license.
