Job Title: Housekeeper/ Cleaner
Job Summary:
The Housekeeper Cleaner is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and organization of residential, hotel, or commercial spaces. The role involves a variety of cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure all areas are tidy, sanitary, and aesthetically pleasing for occupants or guests.
Key Responsibilities:
General Cleaning:
Dust, sweep, vacuum, and mop floors in all assigned areas.
Clean and sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas.
Make beds, change linens, and organize bedrooms.
Clean windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces.
Clean and disinfect high-touch areas, including doorknobs, light switches, and handles.
Laundry and Linen Care:
Wash, dry, fold, and organize linens and towels.
Replace bed linens and change towels as needed.
Restocking Supplies:
Ensure adequate supply of toiletries, such as soap, toilet paper, shampoo, etc.
Replenish cleaning supplies when necessary.
Deep Cleaning:
Perform seasonal or periodic deep-cleaning tasks, such as cleaning carpets, upholstery, and curtains.
Organize and clean storage areas.
Specialized Cleaning:
Handle the cleaning of specific items or areas (e.g., kitchen appliances, refrigerators, ovens).
Maintenance Support:
Report any maintenance issues (e.g., plumbing problems, broken fixtures) to the appropriate department or manager.
Health & Safety:
Adhere to health and safety regulations while using cleaning products and equipment.
Ensure the proper handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous cleaning materials.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a housekeeper or cleaner in residential, hospitality, or commercial settings.
Ability to use cleaning equipment and tools effectively.
Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and products.
Strong attention to detail and a high standard of cleanliness.
Good physical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy items.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Skills:
Time management and ability to prioritize tasks.
Communication skills to interact with clients, guests, or team members.
Organizational skills for efficient cleaning and maintaining inventory.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 6 months
Pay: AED1,000.00 – AED1,200.00 per month
