Job Objective:
To source and secure all raw materials (cocoa, nuts, fillings) and luxury packaging items required for chocolate production, ensuring the highest quality, best prices, and uninterrupted supply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Raw Material Sourcing: Source high-quality chocolate ingredients (cocoa, butter, nuts, flavors) from local and international suppliers.
- Packaging Procurement: Collaborate with printers and suppliers to source premium chocolate boxes and custom packaging materials.
- Negotiation & Pricing: Negotiate contract terms, pricing, and payment conditions with vendors to optimize the company’s budget.
- Cold Chain & Logistics: Ensure all temperature-sensitive ingredients are shipped under proper refrigerated conditions to maintain quality.
- Inventory Coordination: Monitor stock levels closely to prevent shortages during peak seasons (holidays/events) and avoid waste.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of procurement experience in the F&B (Food & Beverage) sector, ideally within confectionery or chocolate factories.
- Skills: Strong negotiation skills, excellent vendor management, and proficiency in Excel or ERP procurement software (e.g., Odoo, SAP).
- Traits: Highly organized, detail-oriented regarding food quality, and able to handle pressure during high-demand seasons.
